For the most part I teach shamanism through two excellent schools: The Animal Spirit Network and Orlando’s Center for Animal Therapies.

Through my own school, Spiritlearning, I offer private lessons. Some people want to learn on their own time, at their own pace, with compete personal attention. I am here for you! I also offer a Spiral Retreat in Bumblebee AZ each April. These events are MAGICAL!

Working with these school’s programs, (or me directly) you can learn to journey and communicate with animals, learn how to help animals using core shamanic healing techniques, and explore the vast richness of non-ordinary reality though ceremony and mystical journeys.

Begin Here: Most people begin the basics – learning to journey into Non-ordinary reality and build a strong connection with your spirit allies. For the very basics, start with the video: Speak to My Heart, my DVD that teaches the first steps of journeying and animal communication. (This DVD covers about 30% of what is on the on-demand course). This video is a great way to get yourself ready for a live class or an entry level teleclass.

The next step is to take a class that teaches you how to journey into the htree worlds, and connect deeply with an Spirit Ally. I offer an on-demand video training Introduction to Shamanic Journeying: the 3 Worlds through ASN, and live classes in Orlando with CAT.

Shamanic Healing-Hands On Techniques

There are quite a few shamanic healing techniques that can’t be accomplished over the telephone. I can’t teach them in teleclasses, and I can’t perform them on people and animals who are not in front of me. In my other live workshops I touch upon them, but this is the first workshop devoted to hands-on healing techniques, taught in a step-by-step manner.  This workshop is fresh and exciting, and teaches techniques (for both animals and people) that give  immediate and profound results. Learn to bring spirit through your bones to deliver powerful hands on healing. You will learn stand alone shamanic techniques, and you will learn how to use your shamanic skills to enhance other energetic healing modalities.

Arizona Drumming Circle

We meet monthly, more or less, with the intention of doing shamanic healing for animals. We use the Spirit Spiral quite a bit, and do ceremony and celebrations. The circle is fun loving and casual. We have a good time! The circle is open to all who want to use shamanic journeying to communicate with animals, and to heal animals. This is not a workshop, but we do give pointers and offer help and direction. Several people have even learned to journey from scratch by attending the circle (although most regulars have experience in shamanic journeying). Monthly Telephone Drumming Circle

Practice your Shamanic Journeying

In these monthly circles we meet over the phone to journey and support each other on the path of shamanic learning. Please join us on the second Monday of each month for a 1.5 hour call were we will commune with friends, journey to the spirits, and celebrate our connection.  The format is:

• Open circle by calling in the spirits
• Do a quick introduction and check in around the circle
• Journey on a topic as a group (or if an individual person prefers he/she may use the time for a personal journey)
• Share the journeys we did (for those who choose to share). We may break into smaller groups to do this if the circle is large.
• Close circle

This is a chance to journey in a powerful, supportive circle. The circle of spirits helps keep us focused and gives juice to the experience. Please joins us, and please tell your friends about it!

It was shown to me by spirits first as a way of bringing healing to the children of Phoenix. The spirits of the valley, the guardians who have been watching over this land for generations, are called to action in the ceremony. They reach down to support our young people, helping the kids avoid gangs, drugs and the like. It is no surprise that they led me to host this workshop at Bumble Bee Ranch, because the proceeds from the ranch support youth targeted charities, like the Lions.

Thanks for the great weekend.  Couple of quick things:

I had asked for healing for my <special needs> daughter during the spiral work.  Didn’t tell anyone….even my wife.  My daughter had a doctor’s appointment on Tuesday and the doctor took her off some of her medications.  He said it appears she no longer needs them and she may be maturing and changing.  My wife said that she was surprised because the doctor has never said anything like that before….Continuing to believe in miracles.

I believe I have a residual from Sat night…I now have periods of spontaneous chanting followed by what I can best explain as a Spirit vision…Right now it doesn’t seem to matter where or when…Luckily I haven’t broken out in chanting during a business meeting at work but who knows.  Don’t have the sense that I can’t come back or regain immediate control but it’s been an interesting development.  Maybe I got my wish of integration?

One of the things I needed to work on this weekend was learning to listen and be a participant… I need to relate the message I received in the spiral:

It was everything and it was nothing

The world was veiled and the world was unveiled

It was power and strength and it was weakness and fear

It was lightness and it was darkness

It was faced and it was faceless

It was the ancient old ones and it was the new young ones

I was alone…I was everyone

There is no beginning and there is no end

I am changed…I am unchanged

I am here…I am nowhere…I am everywhere.

You could have your own miraculous stories to tell from this work. I have mine. I got healed from a stroke. Caroline got her blown vertebrae healed. Dad recovered from being near death. We have a long list. It is a complete blessing to be part of this work.

Bumble Bee AZ: April 15-17, 2011

This workshop will build upon the work we did in 2010, with new ceremonies, new trainings and new experiences. You do not need to have experienced a previous Spiral Ceremony to participate in this incredible experience. The spirits know who you are, they welcome you and they will give you exactly the love and gifts you need! Come!

The Arizona workshop meets at Bumble Bee Ranch, an intimate retreat center/dude ranch set in my favorite part of the Sonoran Desert. We have rented their wonderful guest house, and will have ample room to drum, dance and celebrate. I will have my horses there for you enjoy and to practice your shamanic arts. (They love attention. You can work with them, or just feed them carrots. If you know how to ride they can even take your for a stroll through the beautiful countryside. If you don’t like horses, you can just wave to them from a distance.) If people want to have an organized trail ride, the ranch has a nice string of rental horses.

Why Bumble Bee Ranch?

This place is magical. It is a real dude ranch, but it is very private. We will have the only guest house. There may be people camping, but it won’t be a crowd. It is completely separate from civilization, but only 5 miles off I17, and it is easy to reach from the Phoenix airport – much closer than Sedona. It is in the Sonoran desert, my spiritual home, and it sings with the song of the spirits. I will bring my horses up and they will work in the spiral with us. The people who run the ranch are lovely, and while they don’t have a clue what we are doing, they are totally welcoming and open. What fun! We will have a nice fire and if you want you can swim in the pool. The guest house has a kitchen, so we can have our own food in addition to the ranch meals.  Should I go on? I am in love with this place!!

I had a journey with Carla to clear the negative energies on our land brought in with a severe hail storm that occurred on Aug. 6, 2009. After the journey, I got ready to go to town and as I headed down the stairs in the front of the house I passed our waterfall which drops into a pool of water.  All summer we had cleaned it every two weeks and worked to keep the water clear, but it stayed murky all of the time (at best) and then would become filled with pond scum towards the end of the two weeks.  I had been checking every day to see if I could see the large rocks in the bottom of the pool.  They were becoming obscure as we started into the second week.  As I passed the pond, after the journey, I stopped and stared because I could not believe my eyes.  The pond was clear.  Not only could I see the large rocks but I could even see the small pebbles on the bottom clearly.  This is over 24 hours since the journey, as I write, and I just checked the pond again.  It is still clear to the bottom!  I am sure that that is sign that the energy has been cleared and recovery of the damage is well on its way.  Thanks so much, Carla.  It is great to know you are there for help such as this.  We are extremely grateful for all the Spirits who helped clear our property!  Thank you! I was so pleased with our time together. It helped to fill in some gaps in understanding myself, and I’m so thankful for the all the healing “in my bones” that took place and will continue to transpire in my life.  Knowing that “rabbit” is my number one power animal I went out and bought myself a cute one in resin (he’s brown and about 12 inches tall) for my garden.  Cookie gave me one in white for my deck with a lovely blooming amethyist plant. She chose white because we both had connected me with an Alice in Wonderland nature just as you had in one of the visions.  Such fun, such delight!

I cannot tell you what a TOTAL SWITCH I feel in myself since the session with you. A few things have happened: first of all, I feel more unadulterated JOY than I have felt in 10 years. I feel unencumbered. Worries about things are rolling off my back. I used to spend a lot of time ruminating and worrying about my love life being messed up, me being broken, what I did wrong / could do better. I spent SOOOOO much time in FEAR. I am now in this awesome state of practical bliss.

I just received the rose quartz in the mail. Tucker seemed to recognize it and rubbed his face all over it. I was going to put it on his collar, but he said no, to place it in his bed. He is very calm. When I asked him how he was doing today, he said “all the pieces are coming in.” I think he was talking about the pieces of his soul that were separated. He has slept most of the time since the healing; he hasn’t been able to sleep during the day for a long time, so this is pretty amazing. I think he can finally relax. Hugs, Kelly

I admit, I am a bit of a skeptic regarding animal communication, but went to Carla’s first seminar with an open mind. Her skill in facilitating us on our journeys was amazing. Everyone in our class met their power animals on the first attempt. You could literally feel the energy of the spirits we had met. We then partnered up with another classmate and proceeded with a “meet and greet” of an animal belonging to our partner. We only had name, species, age and location to go on. I journeyed to my partner’s house and later described it to her – a house I had NEVER been to. Amazing things happened to all of us in these two days of Carla’s guidance. Since then, a friend asked me to help her with her aged cat who was losing weight. Although the vet did not feel it was the cat’s “time”, I journeyed and met this lovely cat. I explained how his owners were very worried and understood if it was his “time”, even though they would miss him. My friend called the next day to say her cat passed quietly in his sleep. I was in your Chicago workshop last weekend. A lady on my prairie dog forum has a pd with an infected salivary gland… it’s been abscessed, and swollen for 2 months – despite antibiotics, etc. Nothing was helping the abscess go down. I offered to do a healing journey – making no promises of course, because I’m brand new at this. I saw my guide remove the gunk and a foreign object (which appeared to be a yucky squirming huge bug of some sort – but I didn’t tell her that) from Precious, then she got a power animal. I did this journey Saturday morning. I just rec’d an e-mail from her mom – the abscess went away Saturday afternoon – it’s gone!!!! OMG!!!!! Her mom is thrilled of course – and so am I.
